They’re 6 months old (Silky X Maltese) and 14 week old (Pomeranian X Maltese) and I feed them…
Breakfast: Chicken neck (big and meaty, still has esophagus attached)
Afternoon: 4 cubes of diced chicken, a cube of chicken liver and a chicken heart (A cube is about 1 cm by 1 cm).
Dinner: Chicken wing.
Is that too much organ everyday?

Sorry that it seems like you're not getting a whole lot of info here -.- I think its great that you're feeding your pups raw though! I don't think that's too much organ in a day (but then again, I'm not an expert, sorry), but just see how they take to it. Have you been to Dogster to get the raw spreadsheet? Its really helpful with this sorta thing =] Lemme see if I can find a link…
Edit – found the link =
Yes.
I worked with wolves for a time, and of course their digestive tracts are similar. The wolves only received organ meat once out of every 3 feedings.
I think it's the same with people — organ meat should be limited to an occasional meal, not an everyday thing.
Puppies don't have such a strong digestion system like an older dog would. Its like just eating bread, donuts, bagels, muffins, etc everyday. They are all different things but in the same section: Grains & Wheat.
I'm not completely sure if it bad but i do know little dogs don't take meat lightly. Hope i helped!
You should just feed them dry food that you can just add some water to nothing else. That's alot of protein your giving them for my liking but there your dogs!
Red Mills would be a good or a cheaper option would be GEM just as good.
Stay away from the brand name "chunks" far to much protein in them.
Don't you just love it when people who don't know about raw answer a raw diet question?
Well heart falls more under the muscle meat than organ meat category but it comes down to are you feeding each dog the amount they need of organ appropriately?
That sounds okay..
I guess. But can't u invest in kibble?
Its best for your puppies.
My puppy is 6 months old and he eats iams.
He loves it.
Try it.
UMI?, I like the personality of a pomeranian. They are so sweet.
